Are your materials ethically sourced?
Yes. We are committed to conscious luxury. All our materials are eco-friendly and ethically sourced, from our recycled metals to our responsibly harvested pearls.
- What is Eco-Brass?
Eco-Brass is a high-quality, lead-free, and sustainable alternative to traditional brass. it provides a durable, beautiful base for our gold-plated pieces without the environmental impact of standard mining.
- What is Gold Vermeil?
Gold Vermeil (pronounced ver-may) is a high-quality form of gold plating. To be considered Vermeil, the piece must have a Sterling Silver (S925) base and be coated with a thick layer of gold (at least 2.5 microns). It’s perfect for those who want the look and feel of solid gold at a more accessible price.
- Do you use real pearls?
Yes, we use genuine freshwater pearls. Since they are natural, each pearl is unique in shape and luster, making your jewelry piece one-of-a-kind.
- What is Moissanite?
Moissanite is an eco-friendly, lab-grown gemstone that rivals a diamond in brilliance and durability. It is a conflict-free choice that offers incredible "fire" and sparkle while being much kinder to the planet.
- Is your silver "real" silver?
Absolutely. We use S925 Sterling Silver, which consists of 92.5% pure silver. It is hallmarked for authenticity and is a hypoallergenic choice for sensitive skin.
- Gold Plated vs. Gold Vermeil: What’s the difference?
- The main difference lies in the base metal and the thickness of the gold layer.Gold Plated: Features our sustainable Eco-Brass base with a layer of gold. It is a fantastic, budget-friendly option for high-fashion pieces you want to wear often. Gold Vermeil: This is a premium tier of jewelry. It uses a Sterling Silver (S925)base and requires a much thicker layer of gold (at least 2.5 microns). Because the gold layer is significantly thicker than standard plating, it is much more durable and longer-lasting.
- Which one is better for sensitive skin?
While both are high quality, Gold Vermeil is the best choice for those with sensitive skin. Since the base is S925 Sterling Silver rather than brass, it is naturally hypoallergenic.
- How much longer does Gold Vermeil last?
With proper care, Gold Vermeil can last for years because the gold layer is thick enough to withstand daily wear. Standard gold plating is durable but may require more careful maintenance (keeping it away from water and sweat) to prevent the gold from thinning over time.
- How can I tell which is which on your site?
We believe in full transparency! Every product page has a "Materials" section that clearly lists whether the piece is crafted from Eco-Brass Gold Plating or S925 Gold Vermeil.
